Our story

How Guided Journeys began

Since 2018, our approach has been to keep the booking process clear and the touring experience flexible enough to reflect guest interests.

Founded by Thabo Nkosi, Guided Journeys was developed for guests who want a more personal way to explore local food culture. The route is discussed before booking, including dietary details, timing, and the style of tasting stops.

Our private culinary routes usually run for three to four hours and are planned for small groups. Availability, route details, and guide language are confirmed in advance so the experience is ready before the walk begins.

After the tour, we can share local recommendations that help guests continue exploring on their own, always based on what fits the day and the route.
